As you all know, our swimming club is a non for profit voluntary organisation. The day to day running of the club is carried out by Parents of our swimmers. These people kindly donate their time and effort for the overall good of our swimmers and of the club. As you, the Parents, are our only support, we encourage you to get involved and help out whenever or wherever possible.
Each family is usually rostered on to help once in the term, and I would like to thank those families, who have kindly offered to assist more than once during the term.
The Parent Roster is changing every week to accommodate the needs of some families, and will be emailed prior to Friday night club night.
If you need to change your duty or you will be away, feel free to swap with another family or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange a swap for you.
Please present yourself to the timing hut by 6:15pm to collect your stop watch.
Timekeepers are required to stay until the end of the last race, usually around 8:30pm.
Arrive by 6:00pm and check in with Denise Cook, who will manage the running of the BBQ each Friday night.
You will be assisting with the preparation and serving of food to our swimmers and parents.
Arrive by 6:15pm and check in with Paula McGowan who is our Chief Marshaller.
You will be assisting Paula with placing swimmers in correct lanes in the marshalling area, then mainly taking junior swimmers up behind the blocks or to the seat to await the next race.
