For those who haven’t met Wayne I have included a little information about him.

Wayne is a highly regarded coach who has been involved with several leading swimming programs on the northside of Brisbane. He is very familiar with the operations of school based swimming clubs and their associated programs. Wayne has prepared swimmers for national level competition.

Wayne is also physically active as an open water swimmer and participates in the Grimsey brothers program at Nudgee College and Centenary Pool. Please do not hesitate to engage Wayne regarding training for fitness in general and open water swimming in particular.

Wayne focusses on developing efficient stroke technique in young swimmers. He may use different terms and stroke drills from those which I use but his aim will be the same. I believe it presents an excellent opportunity for the Electric Eels swimmers to hear “the same song from a different singer” and expand their knowledge base.

I am confident that the squad swimmers will enjoy their interaction with Wayne.

Best wishes.

Gary and Paula.
